What are computer cookies
A HTTP cookie or cookie module is a small, often encrypted file sent by a server to a web browser (user) and then sent back (unmodified) by the browser, each time it accesses that server. The cookie will be stored on a user’s computer, mobile terminal or other equipment, an equipment from which the Internet is accessed. The cookie is installed by the request issued by the user’s terminal to a server of our company or to a server of a third party.

What are cookies used for
These files make it possible, mainly, to recognize the user’s terminal and present the content in a relevant way, adapted to the user’s preferences.
Cookies provide users with a pleasant browsing experience and support our efforts to provide more user-friendly services.
They are also used in the preparation of anonymous aggregate statistics that help us understand how a user benefits from our Internet pages, allowing us to improve their structure and content, without allowing the user’s personal identification.

What cookies do we use
We use two types of cookies: per session and fixed/permanent.
Cookies per session are temporary files that remain in the user’s terminal until the end of the session or until the application is closed.Fixed/permanent cookies remain on the user’s terminal for a period determined by the cookie parameters or until they are manually deleted by the user.

How cookies are used by our website
A visit to this site may place the following types of cookies:
– strictly necessary cookies – these are used to render our work on the site more efficient;
– performance cookies – these are used to analyze how our site works and how we can improve it;
– functionality cookies – they help improve your experience, for example by reminding you what products you have added to the cart;
– targeting/advertising cookies – these are used to exchange certain information with third parties with whom we advertise, in order to know how you got to our site. We may also use cookies to identify the parts of the site you are interested in. We then use this information to show you ads and pages that we think may be of interest to you, to individualize the way we communicate with you, or to individualize the content of the communications we send to you. If you prefer, you can choose to give them up. The individualization of the content means that it includes information that reflects the interest you have shown in the content of our pages or offers or promotions that we think you might be interested in and to improve the way we respond to your needs.
Strictly necessary cookies and/or similar technologies are essential for the proper functioning of the site, being set on your device when accessing the site or following the actions performed on the site, as appropriate. You can set your browser to block cookies, but in this case certain sections of the site will not work properly.

Do cookies contain personal data?
Cookies store information in a small text file that allows a website to recognize a browser. The webserver will recognize the browser until the cookie expires or is deleted. The cookie stores important information that improves the Internet browsing experience (e.g., the settings of the language in which you want to access a site; keeping a user logged in to the webmail account).
Usually, cookies or similar technologies do not in themselves require personal information in order to be used and, in many cases, do not personally identify Internet users.
However, there are situations when personal data can be collected by using cookies to facilitate certain functionalities for the user or to offer the user an experience more adapted to his preferences. Such data is encrypted in a way that makes it impossible for unauthorized persons to access it.

Block cookies
If you want to block cookies, some features of the site will be disabled, and this may generate certain malfunctions or errors in the use of our site. For instance, blocking cookies may prevent you from:
– buying online
– logging in to your account

Preference management related to cookie placement
In general, an application used to access web pages allows you to save cookies and/or similar technologies on the terminal by default.
They are stored for different periods of time.
These settings can be changed so that the automatic administration of cookies is blocked by the web browser, or the user is informed every time cookies are sent to his terminal.
Limiting the use of cookies may affect certain functionalities of the website.

Why are cookies important for the Internet
Cookies and/or similar technologies represent a central point of the efficient functioning of the Internet, helping to generate a friendly browsing experience and adapted to the preferences and interests of each user.
Declining or disabling cookies may make some sites or parts of sites impossible to use.
Disabling cookies does not mean that you will no longer receive online advertising, in compliance with the law – but only that it will no longer be able to take into account your preferences and interests, highlighted by your browsing behavior.
Examples of important uses of cookies (which do not require user authentication through an account):
– Content and services adapted to the user’s preferences – categories of products and services.
– Offers adapted to users’ interests
– Remembering passwords
– Retention of child protection filters on Internet content (family mode options, safe search functions).
– Limit the frequency of ads – limit the number of displays of an ad for a specific user on a site.
– Providing user-relevant advertising.
– Measuring, optimizing and adapting analysis features – such as confirming a certain level of traffic on a website, what type of content is viewed and how a user gets to a website (e.g. through search engines, directly, from other websites etc.). Websites conduct these analyzes regarding their use to improve their services for the benefit of the users.

Security and privacy issues
In general, browsers have integrated privacy settings that provide different levels of acceptance of cookies, validity period and automatic deletion after the user has visited a particular site.
Other security issues related to cookies:
– Customize your browser settings for cookies to reflect a comfortable level of security for you to use cookies.
– If you are the only person using the computer, you can set, if you wish, long expiry dates for storing your browsing history and personal access data.
– If you share access to your computer, you may want to consider setting your browser to clear individual browsing data each time you close your browser. This is an option to access the sites that place cookies and to delete any visit information at the end of the browsing session.

In order to provide functionality, analysis and advertising, we use the services of the following third parties: Google Inc.
It is possible that these third parties may set and use cookies and/or similar technologies on websites and applications operated by us, as well as on websites and applications other than those operated by us.
We will not use these cookies in other ways than those indicated in this Cookie Use Policy.
